Weekend Brunch Guide: What to Order at Karkumi Cafe
First time here? This is the easy ordering guide. No pressure, no fancy rules, just what we would suggest if you asked us at the counter.

Kitchen closes 30 minutes before closing. Call ahead for larger groups.
Weekend brunch should not feel like homework.
But sometimes the menu is long, everyone is hungry, and nobody wants to be the person who orders badly. So here is the simple version of what to order at Karkumi Cafe if it is your first weekend visit.
You can follow this exactly, or just use it to get started.
If it is your first time
Start with a benedict.
The Smoked Duck Breast Benedict is the one to try if you want something that feels most like Karkumi. It is still brunch, but with smoked duck and a flavour that feels different from a regular breakfast plate.
The Beef Short Rib Benedict is better if you came in very hungry. It is richer and more filling.
The Smoked Salmon Benedict is good if you want something a little lighter.
Easy rule:
Duck for different.
Short rib for hungry.
Salmon for lighter.
If you want the full first-visit order
Here is a simple first order:
· Smoked Duck Breast Benedict
· Crème Brûlée Latte
· Deep Fried Pumpkin Cheese Balls or BBQ Eel Pizza to share
· Crème Caramel or Affogato if you still want dessert
That gives you brunch, drink, something shareable, and something sweet.
It is a good table. Not too complicated.
If you are coming as two people
Order one benedict and one shareable or pasta.
For example:
· One Smoked Duck Breast Benedict
· One BBQ Eel Pizza or Crispy Chicken Pasta with Basil Pesto
· Two drinks
· One dessert if you are not pretending to be healthy
This works because one person gets the brunch feeling, and the other person gets something lunchier. You can share both.
If you are coming with a group
Do not make everyone order the same thing.
A better group order is a mix:
· One or two benedicts
· One Chicken Croffles
· One pizza
· One pasta
· A few drinks
· One dessert to share
The table looks better, people get to try more things, and nobody has to commit to only one dish.
If your group is bigger, call ahead. It helps us plan the kitchen timing.
If you want something lighter
Not every brunch needs to be heavy.
Look at salads, sandwiches, toast, fruit bowl, smoked salmon, matcha, fruit teas, or iced drinks. A lighter brunch is nice if you still have things to do after.
Some people come in and say, “I want brunch but I do not want to feel dead after.”
We understand that order.
If you are here for drinks

That is allowed.
Try the Crème Brûlée Latte if you want something sweet and fun.
Try the Tiramisu Latte if you want something dessert-like.
Try Matcha Latte if you want something softer.
Try fruit tea or soda if you want something cold and bright.
You can come in for just a drink. You do not have to explain yourself.
If you are here for dessert

Also allowed.
Crème Caramel, Lava Cake, Affogato, a latte, and maybe a croffle-style brunch plate is a perfectly fine weekend plan.
Some mornings are dessert mornings. We are not judging.
A few weekend notes
We open at 8:30 AM on weekends and close at 6:00 PM.
The kitchen closes 30 minutes before closing.
Weekend brunch can get busy after late morning, especially with groups. If you are coming with more people, please call ahead so we can give you a better answer.
Pasta, pizza, and weekend specials can take longer than simple drinks or some brunch plates. If you are in a hurry, tell us before you order.
